Please read carefully, as agreeing to these terms is required when booking a trip with Eggstream Kayak, hereby representing its guides and team. We appreciate your interest in our trips and hope this document helps you secure your spot on one of our adventures!

Booking process
Booking Inquiry and Confirmation Checklist
To begin the booking process, please ensure the following steps are completed:

How to Book
If you’re ready to join us, please complete the booking form provided.

Confirmation: Once we receive your reservation form, we’ll send a confirmation email with payment details to send the deposit and any additional trip information you may need.
Pre-Trip Preparations
Before your trip date arrives, ensure you have completed the following:

Flights: Some of our trips include flight price or you can book your own.

Insurance: Purchase relevant travel insurance

Equipment: Confirm with us if you need to rent a kayak or other gear

Preparation Whatsapp Group: 2 months before your trip, we will add you to a whatsapp group with all guides and participants on the trip to review details and answer any questions.

Payment information

Deposit: A refundable deposit (refundable up to 30 days before the start of the trip) of 30% of the trip cost is required to reserve your place. A deposit invoice will be sent once we receive your booking form.

Full Payment Option: You may request a full trip cost invoice if you prefer to pay in one transaction.

Final Payment Due Date: The remaining balance must be settled at least 30 days before the trip start date.

Currency and Fees: All invoices are issued in Euro. Payment must be made in this currency, with any transfer fees borne by the sender.

Additional Costs and Exclusions:
The following costs are not included in your package:

Equipment deposits (for any potential damage).

Gratuities for guides, drivers, and other facilitators.

All included and additional costs are detailed in your trip itinerary and booking confirmation. Please review all exclusions to avoid unexpected expenses.

Pre-Departure Checklist
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip, please complete the following:

Insurance and Documentation: Obtain the required travel insurance.

Travel and Arrival Logistics: Arrange international flights to align with trip start and end dates if booking the flights yourself.

Equipment and Packing: Make sure we are aware of any gear that you may need.

Pre-Trip Whatsapp Group: We’ll add you to the group, 1 month before departure to discuss final questions and trip details. It will be important to answer & reply in the group.
Failure to complete necessary preparations could impact your trip experience. Contact us with any questions regarding this checklist.

Travel Insurance Requirements
All participants are required to obtain travel insurance that includes, at minimum, the following coverage:

Adventure Activities: Coverage for kayaking, rafting, and similar high-risk activities.

Medical and Evacuation Insurance: Coverage for emergency medical expenses and helicopter evacuation in remote areas.

Trip Cancellation and Interruption: Coverage for cancellations due to illness, injury, or other emergencies.
Proof of valid insurance: must be submitted to Eggstream Kayak at least 30 days before departure. Failure to secure adequate insurance may result in forfeiture of the booking without refund.

Cancellation
Cancellation by Eggstream Kayak
Our expedition trips require a minimum number of participants and may be impacted by factors such as political issues, border restrictions, and weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel any trip, in which case a full refund of the total trip cost will be issued to the client. If water levels on trip rivers are unsuitable within a week of the start date, an alternative itinerary will be arranged to meet group needs.
Cancellation by the Client
The initial 30% deposit will only be refunded up to 30 days before the start of the trip, when the full payment is due.
If full payment is not made at least 30 days before the start of the trip, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.
If you cancel within 30 days of the trip start date, (the time needed to fill a spot) no refund is guaranteed unless we can fill your spot. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellation expenses.
Eggstream Kayak cannot be held responsible in the event of difficulties incurred during the flights or transport to the meeting point. It cannot either be held responsible in the event of canceled flights or for any extra costs associated with delays, cancellations, delayed or lost baggage. Eggstream Kayak is under no obligation to make any refunds for any missed activities due to problems associated with transport to and from the meeting point.
Booking Transfer and Substitution
If you cannot attend the trip, you may transfer your booking to another person, subject to prior approval and provided the new participant meets trip requirements. Contact us at least 45 days before the trip to initiate a transfer.
Force Majeure Clause
In the event of trip cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, political instability), Eggstream Kayak will not be held liable for losses or additional expenses incurred. We will attempt to reschedule the trip, but refunds may not be available. We advise clients to secure comprehensive travel insurance for such cases.

Safety Clause and Disclosure
Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk
By booking with Eggstream Kayak, you acknowledge that adventure activities carry inherent risks, including personal injury, illness, or death. While we prioritize safety, these risks cannot be entirely eliminated. Participants agree to assume full responsibility and follow all safety instructions. By confirming your reservation, you release and hold harmless Eggstream Kayak, its guides, and affiliates from any claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence by Eggstream Kayak.
River Rafting and Kayaking
Whitewater Kayaking and other river sports are inherently dangerous. Our guides are committed to ensuring a safe experience and will do all to minimize risks. Please follow all guidance and instructions from our team.
Code of Conduct and Cultural Sensitivity
We expect participants to act respectfully and responsibly throughout the trip:

Respect Local Customs: Follow cultural norms

Photography of Animals and Street Performers: Pay pre-arranged fees for any photos.

Explore in Groups: Travel in pairs or groups when exploring city areas.
Eggstream kayak reserves the right to remove any guest disrupting the experience or behaving inappropriately, without refund.
In remote and potentially hazardous areas, follow all instructions from trip leaders for your safety. Decisions on river safety and group dynamics will be made by our trained guides and must be respected by participants.

Client Acknowledgment of Terms
Accepting the booking terms & conditions means that you accept the Trip Leader’s authority to make decisions affecting the whole group or specific individuals. Trip Leaders may require an individual or individuals to leave the trip if they believe that their integrity is at risk, an illegal act is committed or the behavior has been detrimental to the safety and enjoyment of the group.
By submitting your booking form and any payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined by Eggstream Kayak. This acknowledgement confirms your understanding of all responsibilities, requirements, and risks involved.
