Join us for a 5 day course as an introduction to basic whitewater. We will guide you on exceptional sections of river and help you gain confidence and skills. All this takes place in the Northern French Alps, in Haute Savoie, a renound region for outdoor activities & whitewater rivers in France.
This region of the French Alps is much less visited by kayakers than the classic Durance Valley, but also offers quality kayaking on beautiful rivers. You can expect to paddle classics like the Giffre and Fier, passing through narrow gorges, the Dranse and it's blue water and tributaires, or maybe the Upper Arve with a view of the Mont Blanc. Numerous options are available, sections will be chosen depending on skill levels and river conditions.
We will manage shuttles and guiding on all the best rivers close by. This course is available for class II-III paddlers. All sections are ideal to gain confidence, work on skills and explore beautiful canyons all at once.
Kayaks are not provided for this course and do require rental (120€/week). Please contact us for additional gear (Paddle, Helmet,
